Ruth Lucille Breed, born 14 Apr 1914 at Grand Junction, Colorado, was the second child of Robert Breed and Josephine Blackstone ^[1]. She was censused at age 5 with her birth family in Mesa, Colorado ^[2], then at age 16 in Oakland, California ^[3].

Ruth married before 1940, William H. Leopold (1909 - 1992), with whom she was censused in Oakland, California ^[4]. The census record indicates that her husband was from the state of Washington.

Ruth Lucille (Breed) Leopold died 19 Jan 1991 at Sacramento, California. Her grave is in Mount Vernon Memorial Park, Fair Oaks, Sacramento County, California, USA ^[5].
