Thomas H. Breed was a son of Polly Maria (Loomis) and Mathew Breed (1820-bef.1883). Thomas was born in 1850, evidenced by his listing in the census of Pharsalia, New York, in the same year of his birth ^[1], and also by the year inscribed to his grave marker ^[2](note that the banner panel of this online memorial site gives an incorrect year).

Thomas H. Breed married Aurelia Mary Harrington (1855-1948). One child is documented from this union:
