Biography

This Lucy Breed, b. 10 Feb 1776 @ Stonington, Connecticut, was the fourth child of Lucy (Randall) Palmer (1751-1831) & Amos Breed (1744-1785), her first husband.

She married 12 Oct 1797, @ N. Stonington, Connecticut, Samuel Noyes Peabody (1774-1852). They had 10 children, all at North Stonington where they resided:

  2. Philura Maud (Peabody; 1799-1865); married Caleb Grant
  3. Alvira (Peabody) Breed (1801-1886); married Jesse Billings Breed

  5. Martha Randall (Peabody; 1806-1870); married Thomas P. Chapman
  6. William Starr Peabody (1808-1885); married Sarah K. Button
  7. Nancy Cole (Peabody; 1810-1892); married Benjamin Franklin Chapman
  8. Elias Sanford Peabody (1812-); married Sarah Elizabeth Tanner
