Biography

Elizabeth Breed, born Norwich Conn. Apr. 13, 1778, was the first child of Elizabeth (Clement) Cleveland (1755-1826) & David Breed (1755-1783) [1].

She married March 11, 1801 at Brandon, Vermont, (as his 2nd wife) Rev. Enos Bliss [(Yale 1787), b. Nov. 25, 1765, son of Ebenezer and Abigail (Cooley) Bliss]. They had at least six children, their first of whom probably died young:

  • Sally Bliss, b. 3 Oct 1802

Elizabeth (Breed) Bliss died 18 Jan 1829 at Lorraine, New York. Her grave is in Lyman Cemetery, Adams, Jefferson County, New York, USA [2].
