Harriet Maria Breed, born 20 Nov 1840 at Lynn, Massachusetts, was the fourth child of Elizabeth (Breed) and Stephen Nichols Breed.
She married 20 Nov 1861 Peter Augustus Wolcott of Eatontown, New Jersey [b. 7 May 1839, son of Henry W. & Sybillah Wolcott; resided in E. Orange, New Jersey; d. 1904]; they had 3 children, born in Lynn, Massachusetts:
- Elizabeth Breed Wolcott, b. 10 Jun 1870; married 26 Nov 1900 Rev. Pemberton Hale Cressy of Salem, Massachusetts [b. 23 Nov 1872 @ Denver, Colorado, son of Thomas E. & Susan J. (Hale) Cressy; d. 6 Feb 1920 @ Beverly, Massachusetts]
- Henry Augustus Wolcott, b. 6 Aug 1866; married Susan F. Lawrence of Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of Richard Lawrence
