She married 30 May 1816 at Reading, Vermont, Timothy Nichols as his first wife.[2] After Huldy passed away, her husband married Catherine Hutchinson on 21 Feb 1843.[3] (Note: this profile previously mentioned that Catherine was the first wife of Huldy's son Allen in error).
They had the following children:
Allen B. Nichols, born 15 Mar 1819, died 18 Jul 1900, married 1. Louisa A. Nichols on 7 May 1848, 2. Sarah Stearns before 1857 when their son was born.[4][5][6][7]
Harriet Nichols, born abt. 1825, died 2 Jan 1910, married Nahum B. Parmenter.[9][10]
John Nichols, born 6 Mar 1829, died 14 May 1903, married Francis.[11]
This family settled in Windsor County, Vermont.
Huldy (Breed) Nichols died 3 Oct 1840. Her grave is in Amsden Cemetery, Reading, Windsor County, Vermont, USA [12].
