Biography

Marion was born about 1852. He was the son of Cicero George Breedlove and Susan A Gunter. Some census records recorded his name as "M. G." He paid personal tax while in Gwinnett Co., GA where he married Sarah Still. His mother, Susan Breedlove was living at Hog Mountain, Gwinnett Co., GA and was taxed on 150 acres. Marion (M. G.) is enumerated on the Walton Co. GA census from 1860 -1880.

He and Sarah had 4 children:

1. Susan A. Breedlove b. 1875 d. 1925 m. William T. Hardegree; had 12 children.
2. Lula Ida Breedlove b. 1878 d. 1962 m. William T. Still: had 6 children.
3. Clyde Cassel Breedlove b. 1879 d. 1942 m. Era P. Williams: had 14 children.
4. John L. Breedlove b. 1883 d. 1916 m. Kate O. Addington.
