Obituary

Ruth B. Evans, 76, 508 Ridgeland Drive, Sandersville, Died Saturday, December 14, at an Atlanta Hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 16, from Sandersville United Methodist Church with Rev. James Duke officiating. Interment was in Brownwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Evans was born July 24, 1915 in Walton County. She was the daughter of Richard Edward Breedlove and Lillian Ruth Jackson Breedlove. Mrs. Evans was a homemaker and a member of Sandersville United Methodist Church. She was married to the late William (Bill) Evans.

Survivors include two sons, William James Evans III of Huntsville, Alabama and David Evans of Atlanta; one sister, Aurelia B. Davis of Bradenton, Florida; three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Otis Smith, Grable Smith, Gus Dalton, Oliver Wilson, E. A. Bivings and James Whaley.
