Abraham Breedlove was the son of Wesley Breedlove and Quenetta Hesley Chappell. He was born in 1838 in Guilford County, North Carolina.
On 31 Dec 1863, he married Rachael F. Williams, daughter of George and Drucilla Williams, in Tippecanoe, Indiana.
Abraham enlisted in Company M, North Carolina 22nd Infantry Regiment on 9 Jan 1864, fighting for the Confederacy.
Abraham and Rachael had several children: Mary Rosa, George Abraham, Michael, Drucilla, Mariah, Nancy, and Dora C.
Abraham died in Worth Township, Boone County, Indiana on 17, Jun 1912. In his will, probated 28, Jun 1912, he left all of his property and goods to his wife, Rachael.
