Mary married James Scott Brenton (born on February 2, 1741 in Hampshire County, Colony of Virginia; son of Henry Owen Brenton and Mary (Borders) Brenton) in Marion County, Indiana. Their daughter was Sarah Brenton

Mary died on September 11, 1831 in Marion, Indiana, United States, aged 32.
