Continued from below.

I started to propose the necessary merges but these need to start from the oldest profile. The question is whether Martyn Thomas Martin is meant to represent Thomas Martin of Athelhampton or another man born and living in Safron Waldon. If he is then he needs unlinking from his wife and the rest of the Athelhampton duplicates before any merges take place. I note that your dates are different to those on the 'originals' but that the only source is ancestry.com. There has been fairly extensive research on the originals and the dates are derived from primary sources.

Sarah please could you look at these profiles .

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Martin-41410 (Martyn Thomas Martin) was born in Saffron Waldon he is however linked in marriage with https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dawbney-7 Maria Dawbney. These look like duplicates of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Martin-10281 (Thomas Martin of Athelhampton )and his wife, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Daubeney-32

The next generations are also duplicates as are their wives Martin-41409 and Kelway-13, are duplicates of Martin-10280 and Kelway-4

Thomas Martin-41408 is a duplicate of Martin-10279 though his wife was named Elizabeth Gerrard, not a Mary. (so probably still a duplicate.

Their son William Martin-41406 is also a duplicate ( he definitely didn't die in 1616 as was alive at the 1623 visitation. He is not known to have a son Samuel)

Hi Sarah,

Agree that the Garde profiles appear to be the same. Please reverse the merge to take the higher number profile to the lower number profile and then I will approve. Thanks.
