He married Catharina Elisabeth Weber in 1855 in Walter and they had six children in that colony.

The 1857 Walter census records list that this family went to Brunnental province in Samara, Russia.

They moved from Walter to Brunnental in 1863. They had additional children in Brunnental.[1]

He most likely died in Brunnental sometime after 1884.
