Biography
Louise Brewer was married to Alan Shepard Jr., America's first astronaut in space. His spaceflights included the Mercury 7, and the Apollo 14 missions. She met John F. Kennedy and The First Lady Jackie Kennedy after Alan returned from his Mercury 7 mission.
Louise was born in 1922. She passed away in 1998, just 5 weeks after her husband Alan passed away from Leukemia.
