Biography

Angelina was born in 1907. She passed away in 2005.

She was a daughter of the late Charles and Emerinza (Morehouse) Brewer. Angie was a member of the Keswick Robins Seniors Group and the Zealand Seventh-day Adventist Church. She served as church organist for thirty four years.

Angelina Brewer of Zealand passed away August 11, 2005 at her home. Born in Zealand in 1907, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emerinza (Morehouse) Brewer. Angie was a member of the Keswick Robins Seniors Group and the Zealand Seventh-day Adventist Church. She served as church organist for thirty four years.

Angie is survived by three daughters, Norma Staples (Murray), Avis Young, both of Zealand and Myrna Steeves (Patrick), Halifax, NS; two sons, Carroll Brewer (Betty) and Vaughan Brewer, both of Zealand; thirteen grandchildren, Cheryl Staples, Patricia Hawkins (Timothy), Calvin Staples, Kevin Staples (Karen), Angela Young, Christopher Young, Justin Young, Robbie Steeves (Mary), Kelly Legg (Lee), Terry Brewer, David Brewer (Tanya), Lisa Bennett (Marty) and Deanna Irish (Jason); several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Horace W. Brewer in 1979; five sisters, Edna Brewer, Mary Ann Marr, Alta Estey, Cassie Brewer and Almina Crouse and five brothers, Raymond, Elmer, Johnny, Frank and Reid Brewer.

Resting at the Zealand Seventh-day Adventist Church, 33 Morehouse Corner Road with visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the church on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Glendon Corkum officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandsons David Brewer, Terry Brewer, Calvin Staples, Kevin Staples, John Morehouse and Justin Young.

For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Angie, the family has suggested the Zealand Seventh-day Adventist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
