Seth was born on January 30, 1770, at Lebanon, New London, Connecticut, the son of William Brewster and his first wife, [Morgan-3721|Olive Morgan]. He was baptized at Lebanon on April 15, 1770.

He married Abigail Walworth on October 11, 1792, at Rome, New York. They had eight children: Olive, Lyman, Eunice, Jesse, Seth W., Mary, Hiram, and Calvin.

The family moved to Auburn Center, Geauga, Ohio, in about 1832, where Seth died on January 29, 1844. Seth is buried at Maple Shade Cemetery, Auburn Center, Geauga, Ohio, USA, Plot: Sect 1 Lot 134. You can set a picture of his gravestone at Find A Grave.
