This birth date is speculative, based upon her age of 20 at the time of her marriage.

"Samuel Winkley married Mary Brewster, daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Waterhouse) Brewster of Portsmouth, and was the granddaughter of Elder John Brewster, the spiritual leader of the Pilgrims on the Mayflower to Plymouth, Massachusetts, in 1620" (History of Barrington, New Hampshire) but the connection appears to have been a forgery.
