Biography

Cyrus Brewster was born 18 August 1738 in Preston, Connecticut, a son of Benjamin Brewster and Elizabeth Witter.^[1]

He attended Yale College, graduating in 1763.^[1]

His first marriage was to Tabitha Jones. There were no children from this marriage.^[1]

His second wife was Hannah Wills. Their children were:^[1]

1. Tabitha Jones Brewster, born 1787
2. Martha Brewster, born 1 June 1790; married Samuel Phelps

Cyrus Brewster died in 1816.^[1]
