Annever was born in 1672. She is the daughter of John Brickell and his wife Mary Joliffe sister ofAnniver (Jollife) Brickell (-1700) ). She was baptised at the parish church of St James, Shaftesbury on 27 May 1672.[1]
At the time of her father's will written in 1710 (he died Fenruary 1711/12).Annever was unmarried. She inherited from her father a freehold tenement in Shaftesbury together with leasehold propert in the same town . [2]
In 1791, her Aunt Anniver (Jollife) Brickell (-1700) wrote her will, leaving Annever £50 [3]
Sometime after this date she married, as his second wife, Henry Farr (abt.1669-1723) [4] The couple had no children.
Annever survived her husband She died at Hinton St Mary, Dorset where she made her will on 14 July 1740 Unfortunately the register for 1740 for Hinton St Mary is damaged and the date of her burial cannot be .
She left her freehold property in Shaftesbury to Mary (Yeatman) Farr (1730-), the daughter of her 'son in law' (husband of her step daughter) Morgan Yeatman (1696-1775) She ratified the transfer of copyhold property in the manor of Gillingham to Morgan Yeatman.
She gave a diamond ring to Morgan Yeatman's son Harry Farr Yeatman (1728-1787)and a gold chain to his sister Mary . The siblings also received Annever's plate.
Ann Yeatman, the daughter of John Yeatman received One hundred pounds (this is possibly a daughter of John Yeatman (1694-), the brother of Morgan Yeatman)
She gave her cousin Jean Ford ( probably Jane Ford (1710-bef.1792)), the daughter of her younger sister Jane Brickle (deceased) a black silk night gown, a grey nghtgown, a silk petticoat, a dozen aprons, ten white handkerchiefs, a dozen shiftes, a piece of lace and two sets of headclothes. Mary Yeatman received the rest of Annever's wearing apparel
The remainder of Annever's goods and chatells went to Morgan Yeatman who was made executor. He was granted probate of her will on 29 November, 1740. [5]
