Mary was born in 1857, the daughter of John Brickey (born Missouri). She passed away in 1934, and was buried at Highland Cemetery, Durant, Bryan County, Oklahoma.^[1]

Tuesday's daily - Jan 9: Mrs. Mary Spyker, aged 76 years formerly of this city, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Etta Snodgrass at Denison, Texas, after an extended illness. She is survived by three sons, W.B. Dane, Denison, P.G. Dane, Tulsa and R.A. Dane, Durant; two daughters, Mrs. John McGinnis, Durant and Mrs. Snodgrass, Denison. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Holmes Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial in Highland Cemetery.
