Biography
George Bridge, son of David Bridge and his wife, Elizabeth Timpson, was baptised at Bradwell on Sea in Essex on 9 February 1822. [1] His father was an agricultural labourer which is also how George earned his living. [2]
On 22 January 1847 he married Emily Brown [3] [4] and they made their home in Dengie. [5]
Emily died in 1885 [6] and George, unemployed, went to live with his brother, Edmund. [7]
George died in 1896. [8]
