According to the Baronetage of England, John married Joanna, the daughter of William Clark of Micheldean. ^[1]

John Bridgeman had his will drawn up on 19 Jan 1547, describing himself as a gentleman of Micheldean, Gloucestershire. ^[2]He made bequests to and mentioned:

• my servant Alice Tither
• my daughter Maryan, wife of John Steynton
• the children now living of William Bridgeman
• the wife and children of William Mordock
• the wife and children of Thomas Cathmayd
• Richard Brayne

His will was probated on 9 Oct 1548.
