Victor Olley Bridges was born in 1887 in Brunswick, Victoria, Australia, the son of Martha (Sutcliffe) Bridges and Joseph Bridges.^{[citation needed]}

Victor Bridges is an Anzac who served in World War One.

• 1st Australian General Hospital 1-6 Special Reinforcements
• Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A71 Nestor on 11 October 1915.

• 2nd Australian General Hospital, Special Reinforcements
• Unit embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A17 Port Lincoln on 18 October 1915 .

He married Agnes Maria Edwards in 1920 in Victoria.^[1]

Victor died in 1966 in Heidelberg, Victoria, aged 78 years.^[2]
