Biography

Mary was born in February 1838 to John Henry Bridges and Evaline Meyers.

She married Leroy Peyton Anderson on April 15, 1858 in Lawrence, Missouri.[1]

Mary passed away around 1900 in Platter, Bryan County, Oklahoma. She is buried (unmarked) at the Colbert Garden of Memory Cemetery in Colbert, Bryan County, Oklahoma. The road was built over her grave.[2]

Burial Site

According to Pam Fisher (great granddaughter), Mary was buried (unmarked) behind her son, James Henry Anderson at Colbert Garden of Memory Cemetery. When the dirt roads were added, her grave was covered up, angering George Washington Anderson.
