Biography

Born 20 Nov 1824 ^[1] in Virginia, USA.

According to the information on census listings, William is born in an area of Virginia, that later turned into West Virginia. I have not been able to find clues about his family and early life yet.

9 Dec 1847 William marries Sarah Yaeger in Mason County, Virginia. ^[2]

After their marriage the young couple moves west to Ohio, where their first son George Thomas Bridget is born on 21 Jun 1849.

21 Aug 1850 William, his wife and their little son George are listed in Leteart Township, Meigs County, Ohio.^[3]
