Biography

John Bridgham was born about 1570 and died between 1615 and 1636 in Thelnetham, Suffolk, England. He was baptized about 1570, so we assume he was born shortly before that.

He married, on July 24, 1604 at Thelnetham, Anne Winnan, born between 1560 and 1590, died March 7, 1615. Of their three known children, one died young, and only one married a produced grandchildren.

John Insley Coddington, F.A.S.O, writes

John Bridgham (Thomas), baptized at Wattisfield, co. Suffolk, 21 June 1570, doubtless moved to Thelnetham with his parents, and apparently died there between 1615 and 1636, when there is a gap in the Parish Registers. Like his father, he left no will. He married, first, at Thelnetham, 24 July 1604, Anne Winnan, whose baptism was not recorded at Thelnetham, but who was buried there 7 March 1614/15. He married, secondly, at Thelnetham (marriage recorded in the Bishop's Transcripts only, since the original Registers have a gap from 1615 to 1636) in 1622, Elizabeth Noble, whose dates of baptism and burial are not known.[1]
