A OneWorldTree (www.ancestry.com) listing shows the children of Benjamin W. Strout and Augusta J. Bridgham to be Donald Bridgham Strout, Charles R. Strout, and Helen C. Strout. The latter two were born in 1868 and 1869, implying a previous marriage. No date given for Donald, which may actually be Augusta's natural son.
The 1910 census states that Augusta had no children.
On Nov 28, 1916, Augusta J. Strout filed for a widow's Civil War Pension.
In 1920, Augusta was living in Columbia, Washington, Maine, with her nephew, Keller Bridgham.
In 1930, she lived by herself in Columbia Falls, Washington, ME.
