Phillip C. Bridgham, of 2524 Grand Ave., Everett, Washington, was inducted on Oct. 3, 1917. He was initially assigned to the 166 Dep Brig until October 25, 1917, then to Co. C, 361 Infantry until his honorable discharge on April 30, 1919. He was promoted to Corporal on September 27, 1918. He served overseas from July 6, 1918 to April 16, 1919. Discharged at Camp Lewis in Apr 1919.

Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Bridgham and Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Bridgham of Everett, Wash., arrived in the city yesterday, after a 2500-mile automobile trip from the northwest. They plan to be in the city for only a few days and are the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Logie. Mr. M. H. Bridgham is the brother of Mrs. Logie.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Harlan Stone, pastor of the First Methodist Church, in the drawing room of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip E. Bridgham. ...
The bride, a blonde, was radiant in her bridal dress of delicate chiffon, fashioned on the new long lines. She was given in marriage by Mr. Bridgham, and her only attendant was Mrs. G. L. Easterly, wearing a gown of tea rose crepe. Mr. Harry Bridgham, acted as best man for Mr. Roberts.

In 1940, P. C. Bridgham owned his house, valued at $5500, at 3516 Hoyt Ave. in Everett, where he earned $2100 in 1939 as a fulltime mail carrier for the Everett Post Office. They lived at the same location in 1935. Philip had completed three years of high school, and Doris completed seventh grade. Living with them were their two children, Phyllis and Melvin.
In 1942, his "next of kin" was Mrs. Rodney Dunlap of Route 4, Everett, WA (his daughter, not his wife). He was 5' 11", 160 lbs, with gray eyes and hair and a ruddy complexion.
In 1950, Phillip C. and Doris J. Bridgham lived at 3516 Hoyt Ave. in Everett, with their son Melvin P. and nephew Arthur L. Easterly. Phillip was a mail carrier, and Melvin was a swimming instructor at the Y.M.C.A..

Two postal employees retired yesterday. Phil Bridgham employee in the area since 1916, rang the post office time clock for the last time.

Philip Curtis Bridgham, 88, of Everett, died November 27, 1984, in a local nursing home.
He was born Decmber 7, 1895, in Washington. He was a WWI Army veteran. He had worked for the U.S.Postal Service from 1916 to 1956, and had been a school bus diver from 1957 to 1966. He was a life member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, a member of Earl Faulkner post No. 6 American Legion, and F.O.E. Aerie No. 13. Mr. Bridgham was also a member of the First Congregational Church. In his erlier years he was very active in Everett softball.
He leaves a son, Melvin Bridgham of Stanwood; grandchildren, Keith Dunlap, Sharon Lerner, Marcia Wall, Diane Campbell, Linda Bridgham, Steve Bridgham and Patti Simpson; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris, in 1969; and a daughter, Phyllis, in 1981.
