hi Joel, you made some changes to Olivier Charbonneau's profile to supposedly put it in compliance with bio check. The thing is, you changed the level of the research notes to 3 = rather than 2 =. Not correct. Do please coordinate before making such changes.
Bio check recognizes that "= Research Notes =" is a proper level 2 heading. Apparently, it does not recognize "= Research Notes de recherche =" as a proper level 2 heading, which is why I made the change. Personally, I have no problem with it being a level 2 header. I will leave it as you have changed it.
Joel, reference your posting on Jerry C Pulver and Ida E Lay. My cousin, Shirley Salerno, has done a lot of research on this family. But she is currently in Ohio.
I believe Shirley believes that your Jerry C is Jay Charles Pulver, son of Robert White Pulver and Eleanor Gilbert. Married Ida 3 Jun 1885 in Marion. Then it appears that Jay took off to Michigan in 1891 and married Minnie Cary. When Jay died, Minnie sent his body back to Marion and he is buried in Newark Main St Cemetery.
Concerrning Prichard-1357 and Prichard-393, John Wesley Prichard II is my grandfather. If this is the same file, I have his WWII Navy records and a few more links you may be interested in.
Joel, re: Strong-6270 ... thank you for attaching her to her parents: Harmon D. Strong + Emily J. Lovesee. She was a grandaunt to me. I made a few alterations to the bio you wrote ... her father was Harmon D. Strong, but as you found on Cynthia's death certificate he was named as Hiram Jasper, which is not correct.
You may be correct about Maude B. Palmer being Cynthia's dauther and not Hiram John Lafayette Palmers'. I met Maude in the 1960's she believed Cynthia + John Palmer to be her parents, and I've found no previous marriage for Cynthia. Many of the women on this part of my family had a child prior to marriage, and yes, some times by several or many years, thus I'll retain your speculation. Maude B Palmer and Claude Miller had no children but did foster many.

Thank you for drawing my attention to the profile of Mary Polly Walker Coleman (Walker-52573). In delving into cleaning this profile, it opened up a huge can of errors, repetitions, and inconsistencies in other profiles. I cleaned up all her husbands and kids (she had 3 husbands!), but found out in doing so that there are three profiles for three different Jonathan Colemans - with an incredible amount of mixing of biographies between these profiles: Coleman-4418 and Coleman-10137 and Coleman-5687, making it difficult to parse out- and especially among the children in these profiles. I have done what I can with the one I manage, Coleman-5687, but am feeling inadequate to the task of all three and putting the correct kids in the correct family. I have contacted the other profile managers without response. And last time I used G2G and asked for help on another profile, I got a lot of inaccurate editing that I had to fix later. Any suggestions for how to take this one on? Thanks for your advice and help! Karen
Joel! As far as I know Geno-135 & Trombley-802 plus their children have been merged. I think I have to wait now for another approval. Question is when that approval happens will it correct the numbers all the way through the family. Now I see each child is doubled as an example Helen, Helen (half). There are 11 children waiting for the final approval of the other manager. Of course I have been taken off as manager of my own family. I will keep working on it till it gets right. Thank you for your patience.
If the other PM doesn't approve the merge within 30 days, it goes into default approval, and anyone can complete the merge. So keep an eye one it. Merging is not automatic. Someone (perhaps you) has to go through the process of comparing the data and, if they disagree, choosing the right facts. That could be you, the other PM, or anyone else. Of course, each profile gets its own approval and merge.
Not so clear. Mary's first husband, Benjamin White, lived until 1814. (They had a son, Benjamin, b. 1792.) It was her father-in-law who died in 1789 (Death - MA Town & Vital Records - Mansfield V1, pg 222 - "in his 67th year"). This death was apparently confused & was interpeted as making Mary a widow in 1789. Not so. The woman widowed by the death of 67-year-old Benjamin White was Sarah (Williams). Data is verified by NSDAR for this Revolutionary War Patriot.
Hi Joel, I am just now delving into the early part of my New England tree. Thank you for noting our duplicate John Jacksons and proposing a merge (next to Mary Smith, the most feared name that pops up!). Best, Donna
Thanks for taking the time to formally change William Moore to William More. It's difficult to know which to use and I see you show the AKA of Moore. Excellent. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Regarding Mary Elizabeth Cooper Smith, I have seen the suggestion that her name was "Nations." I have also recently read that she may have been the daughter of Thomas York in Fentress County. Have you seen this as well, and have you pursued it?
Thank you Joel for this. Wouyld you do the merge. I have never done one. Wynelle Chaney Holden

I'm not sure what to do about the John James Williams merger. I think both profiles are the same individual, but there has always been some question of his parents - they likely weren't blood relatives and I think it's still a family mystery.
Thanks for prompting the merger of Marjorie Smith. (Smith-229844 and Smith-168738) I retained the spellings of her first and middle names, even though a little unusual, as they appear on her birth certificate.
Joel, making more than one thousand contributions in September added so much to the breadth and depth of our Shared Tree. The Appreciation Team thanks YOU!
Joel, your more than 1000 contributions for the month of August 2009 adds to the improvement of our Shared Tree. Thanks so much for all of your efforts.

thanks for the hint on the Frahm - Kruse connection, but it is not assured that those profiles show the same persons. Both names are the most common in the parish. Without any more data on both of them I can't merge those.

I have removed my name from the Trusted List.

It looks like you are having some troubles with proposing merges. See https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:NetworkFeed&who=Black-14794 and https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:NetworkFeed&who=Robinson-26244 as examples.....please make sure that you work with the Arborist project when doing merges so that we are assured that they are done correctly. Continuing to propose a merge and then remove it appears like you are struggling.
