Research Notes

A "Copy of an Old Record of a Birth," for Anna Bridgham shows her born in Hebron on February 5, 1791 to "William" and Jemima Bridgham. This is the only record I have of this person. I assume that she died young.

In addition, there is another "Copy of an Old Record of a Birth" for Fanna Bridgham, February, 1791 to Willard and Jemima Bridgham.

FindaGrave says she married Nathan Nelson, Jr in March of 1808 and had 12 children. She died March 11, 1866.

In 1860, 68yo Anna Nelson lived in Minot, ME in the household of 50yo E. D. and 43yo Phebe Nelson.

Notes, from FindaGrave:

Ann Nelson was the daughter of Willard and Jemima (Packard) Bridgham of Hebron, Maine. The birth record copy accessed via FamilySearch.org gives the specific birth date of 5 Feb. 1791 which relates to the calculated birth year of about 1790 from the gravestone. Most genealogy sources list her as 'Anna.' She and Nathan Nelson, Jr. were married in March of 1808. Together they had 12 children per the Annals of Oxford, Maine (Marquis Fayette King: Portland ME, 1893).
