Mary Brien was the only child of A.W. and Mary (Stewart) Brien. She was born in Tennessee in 1836. In 1850, she was in Warren County, Mississippi, with her father and his second wife, Amanda.
Mary married Dr. Joseph Warren Maybin and had by him at least one son: William H. Maybin, born in Yazoo County, Mississippi on August 27, 1867 and married "Miss Celia Hindman, of Meridian" on Dec. 13, 1904.[1]
She died in 1869.
