Biography

Elizabeth McLean Brien, daughter of Robert Carruthers Brien and Elizabeth Doak Corley, was born 18 Feb 1886 in Nashville, Tennessee.^[1]

She married 19 Jan 1911, in Nashville, Jerry Bowen Williamson.^[2]

Called by the family "Sister," she grew up with four brothers. She attended Belmont College^[3] which merged with Ward Seminary and became the Ward-Belmont School for Women and then in 1951 once again became Belmont College and then Belmont University.

She and Jerry lived in Nashville,^[4] but by 1939 had moved to Dallas, Texas, where he owned a service station.^[5][6]

She died 31 Aug 1971 in Dallas and was buried at the Restland Memorial Park in that city.^[1] There are pictures of her gravestone at Find A Grave.^[7]

They had five children.
