His daughter Elizabeth Ann (Briggs) McCormack (1849-1919) was born on 22 Dec 1849 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia [4].
Arrived in Auckland NZ in Dec 1887 aboard the cargo boat 'Myrtle' as a worker. [5]
The 'Myrtle' left Hobart, Australia in 1887 [6], and arrived in Auckland, N.Z the same year [7].
