Biography

Sarah was born in 1869 in Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England. She was the daughter of Edwin Briggs and Eliza Lloyd.[1]

In the 1871 census Sarah (age about 2) was living in Mile End Old Town, London, England. Relation to Head: Daughter.[1]

Sarah was baptised on 18 October 1871 in Mile End Old Town St Peter, England.[2][3]

In the 1881 census Sarah (age about 12) was living in Mile End Old Town, London, England. Relationship to Head: Daughter.[4]

When Sarah was about 22 she married Thomas C Oughton in 1891 in All Saints, Poplar, England. The couple had 4 children: Thomas Charles Oughton, Ellen Margaret Oughton, Alice Ethel Oughton and Henry Roberts Oughton. SREL unknown.[5][6]

In the 1891 census Sarah (age about 22) was living in Mile End Old Town, London, England. Relation to Head: Wife.[7]

In the 1901 census Sarah (age about 32) was living in East Ham, Essex, England. Relation to Head of House: Wife.[8]

Sarah died at the age of about 62 in 1931 in Rochford, Essex, England.[10]
