Biography

Rev. Joel Briggs was born at Norton, Bristol, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 15 April 1757. He was the son of George Briggs and Sarah Wilkinson. ^[1]

He passed away at Stoughton, Norfolk, Massachusett, 18 January 1828. He was the minister of the First Baptist Church in East Stoughton, Massachusetts. Rev. Briggs was buried at the Oakland Cemetery, Randolph, Norfolk, Massachusetts.^[2]
