Biography

Rebecca Briggs was born on November 19, 1859 in Ross, Ohio, United States.

Rebecca (19) married William Alford Sheely (21) (born on December 11, 1857 in Ross) on January 8, 1879 in Ross. Their son was Fay Elsworth Sheely (1887–1947).[1]

Rebecca (42) married William Aloeste Roseboom (56) (born on September 29, 1845 in Ohio; son of Abner Roseboom and Sarah (Holloway) Roseboom) on September 9, 1902 in Ross. [2]

In the 1860 census Rebecca (age 0) was in Concord Township, Ross, Ohio, United States.[3] Jesse Briggs 33, Delila Briggs 25, Martha Briggs 8, Charles W Briggs 6, Anna Briggs 4, Rebecca Briggs 0.

In the 1870 census Rebecca (age 11) was in Concord Township, Ross, Ohio, United States.[4] Jessey Briggs 43, Delila Briggs 38, Martha Briggs 18, Charles Briggs 16, Anna Briggs 13, Rebecca Briggs 11, Sary Briggs 8, Elija Briggs 5, Jessey Briggs 2, Effa Briggs 0, Jacob Briggs 0.

In the 1880 census Rebecca (age 20), Keeping House, was the wife of William A. Sheely in Concord Township, Ross, Ohio, United States.[5] William A. Sheely 22, wife Rebecca Sheely 20.

In the 1900 census Rebeckey (age 41) was the wife of William A Shelly in Concord Township, Ross, Ohio, United States.[6] William A Shelly 42, wife Rebeckey Shelly 41, son William F Shelly 15, son Fay E Shelly 13.

In the 1920 census Rebecca (age 59) was the wife of William A Roseboom in Saint Petersburg, Pinellas, Florida, United States.[7] William A Roseboom 74, wife Rebecca Roseboom 59.

In the 1930 census Rebecca (age 70) was the wife of William A Roseboon in Summitville, Madison, Indiana, United States.[8] William A Roseboon 84, wife Rebecca Roseboon 70.

In the 1940 census Rebecca (age 80) was the widowed mother of Wm Forrest Sheely in Frankfort, Concord Township, Ross, Ohio, United States.[9] Wm Forrest Sheely 55, wife Susan Sheely 64, mother Rebecca Roseboom 80.

Rebecca died in June, 1948 in Ross, aged 88.[10][11]
