Biography

Angus T. Briggs was born in Oswego County, New York, about 1851. Per his online memorial site, he was a son of Royal Gardner Briggs (1826-1869) and Mary Ann Quigg (1827 - after 1880).

He married 13 Dec 1871 Elizabeth "Libbie" Richardson (18 Feb 1851 - 28 Sep 1891). They had 3 children:

1. Edith Briggs (1875-)
2. Edward R. Briggs (1879-)
3. Lena Briggs (1882-)

This family resided in Scriba and Volney townships (Oswego County), New York ^[1],^[2].
