Biography
Barbara Jean Briggs, daughter of Richard Everett Ohden and Wyllis Glee Brooks, was born June 2, 1952. Her mother passed away when she was 3 1/2. At 9 1/2 she went to live with her paternal grandparents, Dick & Marie Ohden of Williams where she lived until she graduated from school in 1970. Barbara married Michael Lee Briggs, birthdate 12/16/1950 on 10/21/1972. They made their home in Webster City where children Heath Wm. Dirk, 1/4/1975 and Rachel Joy, 6/25/1978 were born and raised. For the past 30 years she has been employed in the secretarial field, currently as a church secretary. She also was employed at Kmart part-time during that time period.
