Birth 1803 Thixendale : Baptism Wharram Percy

John Brigham was born and/or lived as an infant in Thixendale but his baptism was recorded in the half-ruined Parish Church in Wharram Percy, miles away at the other end of the Wold parish, where the village had almost disappeared. Although Thixendale is and was quite a small village it is the largest centre of population in the large wolds parish of Wharram Percy. ^[1] This John Brigham is the son of Thomas Brigham
