Anna Elizabeth Bright was born in about 1754 in Pennsylvania during colonial times. She was a child of Hans Wendel Brecht and Maria Elisabeth Martin. Sometime prior to 1770 they moved to Augusta County, Virginia and here, in about 1770, she married Windle Grove. They had 10 known children. Living in Augusta the remainder of their lives, it is here she passed away some time after 1819 (when her husband died, and she's mentioned in his will). It is unknown where she is buried but is probably on a family homestead.
Mentioned in will of her husband Windle Grove, along with children:[1]
