12 AUG 1870--Basil--61, a farmer, and Eliza--40 resided in Middle Twp., Hendricks Co. with Robert--7, Emma--6 and Phoebe--4. Also in the household was Nancy Scott, aged 18. born in Virginia. No occupation.
16 & 17 JUN 1880--Basil--71 and Eliza--49 Tout in Middle Twp. Children in the home: Robert E.--17, Eva--15, Phoebe--15 and Laura--7. Also, Asa Strain, aged 26 b. IN boarded with them and worked as a farm laborer.
She passed away in 1882, aged 50-51.
