MRS. MARY A. DIERKING died March 1st., aged 81 years, 4 [or maybe 1] month and 28 days. She was born in Kentucky, and first married to J. H. Owens, two children survive this union. Mr. Owens died in 1855 and she was married again in 1859 to August Dierking. Four children survive this union. The funeral was held Thursday at 2 p. m. at Now Home.
