Biography
Ruth was born July 8, 1927 in Dale County, AL. She was the daughter of James and Susan (Newton) Bright.
She married Herbert Charles Johnson on Feb. 3, 1947. They had a son and daughter, then adopted a third child. Her daughter, Barbara, preceded her in death in 1988. Herbert preceded her in death on May 8, 1995.
Ruth passed away on Oct. 8, 2017 at a nursing home in Wrightsville, GA. Her remains are interred alongside her husband's at Midland City Cemetery in Midland City, AL.
