Biography
Alida was born on 8th December 1772 in Cape Town, daughter of Andries Brink, a member of the High Court of Justice, under the Dutch government of the Cape in 1771.
She married 23rd January 1797 Gerard Ewout Overbeek, born at Cosimbazaar, Bengal, 14th February 1767.
