Elizabeth Catherine Brinkley died on August 6, 1928 in Sullivan County, Missouri. She was 53 years old. She was buried with her 1st husband in White Oak Cemetery in Milan, Sullivan County, Missouri.

Elizabeth Catherine Brinkley Hollon Head, was born near Milan MO 1 Feb 1875. Died 6 Aug 1928. She married 3 Sept 1892 James T. Hollon, who died 10 April 1921. Five children born, Eva Gray of Louisville KY; Vernon and Haskell Hollon of Cora; Cleo Jones, Milan; and Eva Knifong of Cora. Married second T. J. Head 28 Sept 1925, who survives with her children, grandchildren, Otto Helms, Vern Jones, Verline Hollon and Joan Hollon; her father D. L. Brinkley of Cora MO; three brothers, James and A. C. Brinkley of Cora; Hampton Brinkley of Laclede MO; three sisters, Belle King of Laclede; Delia Turner and Emma Bradley, Miami FL. Services and burial White Oak Grove Church and Cemetery.
