Dora was born in 1888. She was the daughter of German immigrants Wilhelm Brinkman and Elizabeth Schröder [1]
In 1910 she was working as a servant in the home of Joseph Swenson in Guilford. [2]Harry Johnson was working there as a farm hand. They married in 1914. [3]
Dora passed away in 1982.

Services for Dora L. Johnson, 93, who died Sunday afternoon in River Bluff Nursing Home after a long illness will be held 1 p.m Wednesday at Fred Olson Mortuary. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bernard E., Rockford; Harry Jr., Pudacah; and Donald, Mt Horab, Wisconsin; four daughters, Beulah Graham; New Milford; Ruth Hamilton and Ila Price, both of Rockford; and Wilma Cavanaugh, Wisconsin Dells, 27 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; a brother, Otto, Nebraska; and two sisters, Edna Gibson, Redondo Beach, California; and Hilda Booth, Ramona, California.
