Born in 1969 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Scott Brion grew up near Liberty, PA with his parents and brother Steve living in the house built by his great-great grandfatherWilliam Brion and surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins. His parents, Sid and Susie Brion met while Sid was in the Air Force and stationed in Cheyenne. Susie Brown, a native of Cheyenne with broad family ties to northern Colorado and the upper Midwest, grew up living in a new subdivision of a growing western capital city. Sid was born in the house his great-grandfather had built and grew up in a large family in a rural farming community overwhelmingly comprised of the descendants of its pioneer settlers.
After Liberty Jr.-Sr. High School, Scott attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia graduating from the undergraduate Wharton school in 1992. He then spent the next 15 years pursuing a career in real estate and energy living in several states and eventually for three years in Amsterdam, the Netherlands where he met Bibi, a native of Amsterdam. Scott purchased a retired dairy farm from Carl and Sarah Hetzel in 2003. The Laurel Hill farm lies just off the historic Williamson Road less than a mile from the Brion family homestead and was pioneered by ancestral cousin Jacob Bastian, Jr. In 2008 Scott had the good sense to marry Bibi on the farm.
Scott works as an investor and consultant to landowners impacted by Natural gas development. In 2014 he was the Democratic Nominee for US congress representing Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District. He lives with Bibi and their two young sons in Jackson Township, Lycoming County, PA near Liberty, PA.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
