Charline Brister Reeves

DEATHS Advocate, The (Baton Rouge, LA) - Friday, February 5, 1993

Died 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1993, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. She was born Feb. 18, 1925, in Brookhaven, Miss., and was a resident of Baton Rouge for 50 years. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 3 to 10 p.m Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 4 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Mack P. Stewart Jr. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by husband, William Hollis Reeves, Baton Rouge; a daughter and son-in-law, Maxine R. and Ronald J. Paille Sr., Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, William H. "Bill" Jr. and Irene Major Reeves, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Norma Brown and Jo D'Antoni, both of Baton Rouge, and Loraine Hisaw, Denham Springs, and Dean Saccaro, Cape Canaveral, Fla.; three brothers, Leland Brister, Gonzales, Cecil and Bill Brister, both of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren and grandsons-in-law, Shuntel Paille and Brandon Beach, Shreveport, Ronald J. "Joey" Paille Jr., Baton Rouge, Kevin Reeves, New Orleans, Chad Reeves, Baton Rouge, and Cherie Reeves and Jake Holland, Baton Rouge; three great-grandchildren, Courtney and Hunter Beach, both of Shreveport, and Christopher "Butch" Holland, Baton Rouge; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Vince and Lillian Brister; two brothers, Clarence and Clifton Brister; and a sister, Christine Brister. Pallbearers will be Joey Paille, Kevin Reeves, Chad Reeves, Brandon Beach, Jake Holland and Jimmy Alford. She was member of Trinity Baptist Church and a former member of Rebecca Lodge.[1]
