Mary was born in 1815. She is the daughter of Samuel Brister and Rosannah Nowlen. Mary married James Russell. In 1850 they are enumerated on the federal census in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. [1] In 1860 they are in Rankin County, Mississippi. [2]
