Alvis Brister
Samuel Brister, 1814, married Serena Guess in Hesterville, Miss. They had 7 children, William Hockaday, Edward, Mahala, Isaiah, Jane, John, and Saphronia. His Father was Thompson Brister, mother was Nancy Hockaday Brister. John Terrel was not mentioned in my source, but there was a possibility of other children. Source family records, and Ancestry.com.
