Biography
Christina was born on 15 July 1874 in Ladismith. She was the daughter of Hans Brits and Christina Elizabeth (Went) Fourie.
She was 16 years old when she married 24-year-old Stephanus Nicolaas Fourie in the NG Church in Calitzdorp on 6 February 1892.[1]

- Ockert Stephanus Fourie
- Christina Elizabeth Fourie
- Hester Jacoba Fourie
Christina passed away at Goedverwachting near Oudtshoorn on 10 December 1898 at the age of 23 after suffering from consumption for 6 months. Consumption is what we know today as Tuberculosis.[2][3]
